Tom was formerly the Director of Operations at Sky Studios Elstree in London, regarded as one of the UK’s newest, most modern, sustainable, and innovative screen facilities.

Tom has led operations from pre-launch to date, accommodating recent major films such as Wicked, Paddington 3, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy and Jurassic World: Rebirth.

Prior to Sky, Tom has spent much of the past 10 years in leadership roles across the UK Studios industry, having previously led 3 Mills Studios in East London and the historic Twickenham Studios in West London.

Joining with a wealth of experience in operational delivery, Rob has most recently served as Head of Facilities for Venues Live at Perth’s iconic Optus Stadium.

A background and expertise in technology systems, alongside operational delivery, and his strong ties to Western Australia, make Rob an exceptional addition to the Perth Film Studios leadership team.

James Grandison is the Business and Industry Development Director at Perth Film Studios, where he leads sales, marketing, and industry engagement to position Western Australia as a globally competitive production destination. He works closely with Screenwest, Ausfilm, government, and industry partners to build production pipelines, grow local capacity, and connect Perth Film Studios to domestic and international studios, streamers, and producers.

A Western Australian producer with more than 20 years’ experience across film and television, James brings a strong production background spanning Australia and internationally. His credits include the feature films Blueback, The Surfer, Sweet As, and He Ain’t Heavy, along with major series’ including Picnic at Hanging Rock, Glitch, and Nowhere Boys. He is a former Chair and current member of Screenwest’s Industry Advisory Group.

Heather brings experience from a broad range of industries, including property, mineral resources, engineering, and food manufacturing to the Finance Manager role. She cut her teeth at KPMG, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant while working with clients across multiple sectors, before moving into senior finance roles in the UK.

Heather relocated to Perth for the second time with KPMG and her husband—and is excited to contribute to the strong foundations of the studio. Outside of work, Heather is a mum of three and enjoys cooking, baking, and cycling with her kids. She’s passionate about combining financial insight with practical business support.

Jessy Rolleston Palmer has more than 20 years experience in the screen production industry encompassing film, television and advertising. 

Jessy has lived and worked in ten cities in three countries. She has held producing, writing and research roles across every genre of broadcasting from national news to family entertainment, documentary to drama, satire to sport.

Born and raised in Western Australia, Amy brings a practical background in coordination and venue management to her role as Operations Coordinator. With hands-on experience managing busy venues and large-scale operations, she helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Amy’s can-do attitude, calm and approachable nature, and keen eye for detail ensure both the team and clients feel confidently supported throughout every stage. She takes pride in contributing to smooth daily operations and playing an important role in the team’s ongoing success.
