The world‑famous YouTube trio filmed a special episode of their balloon‑popping series, broadcast on 2nd May, custom‑built for the studio environment. The episode leaned into cinema culture, featuring movie‑themed props and film trivia questions, all delivered with their trademark pace and irreverence.
The shoot was fast, funny and unpredictable – both on camera and behind the scenes. The PFS team also discovered a hidden talent, as James Grandison put on an impromptu balloon‑popping masterclass with a throwing arm that stopped conversations and raised eyebrows.
Adding to the fun were scene‑stealing cameo appearances by the Perth Film Studios executive team, proving that even leadership isn’t safe once the balloons come out.
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to open Soundstage One — and we’re excited to see many more productions bring their stories (and surprises) to life on its floor.
